Kathy Griffin account suspended for being not funny. Again.

On Sunday, Elon Musk unveiled a new policy that will ban accounts for the kind of “impersonation” that comedians and others have been employing to mockingly protest his recent takeover of the social network. Musk, who has previously stated he opposes permanent bans, notably the one placed on Donald Trump following the Jan. 6 uprising, tweeted on Sunday night: “Going forward, any Twitter handles engaged in impersonation without clearly declaring ‘parody’ will be permanently suspended.” Users used to receive a warning before suspension, but going forward, “there will be no warning,” he continued.
